Which is why, perhaps, this searching for a link between law and poetry feels a bit forced. The only link, and the ultimate link, is that my life is a writing life. Wherever I am, and whatever I do, all my experience is a poetic encounter.

Perhaps it feels a bit forced because these is nothing that is "law" to differentiate from that which is "poetry"?
Divide neatly into genera, and link through analogy, metaphor: a legal game (and a poetic one, and an Aristotelian one, and the game behind the University and Western logical knowledge.)
But why force a divide in the first place?
Perhaps you know the book by the british lawyer and literary critic?I don't remember what it was called , but it was about T.S. Eliot .
i ve just re-read that statement of yours 'poetic encounter'. it s a notion that could be contrasted with the deleuzian idea of an encounter period. that is to say, one that is not necessarily predicated by the idea of poetic. So then one might want to ask, what is an encounter. deleuze speaking to claire parnet suggest there are encounters with intensity, with things, the whole idea of desiring-machine that works the body-without-organs. none of these ideas might make any sense if you weren't familiar with some of his ideas... Well, I don't usually comment on bloggers . however. perhaps this is an 'encounter'. good day

Encounters. why not drop the idea of poetic encounters and consider the Deleuzian notion of encounter.
the word poetic is freighted with too much history. strip the language,
